It’s official. This morning the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation announced the winners of the 5th round of their Grand Challenges Exploration awards. VaxTrac was among the winners and even received mention as an example in the press release. We’ll talk more about the focus of this grant in the near future, but as I’m still on Indian Standard Time, that post will have to wait until tomorrow.

That makes perfect sense, since VaxTrac is doing exactly what the Gates Foundation is trying to accomplish preventing childhood diseases. Good choice, Melinda and Bill!
